Joy Petty is a Texas native and is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 27 years of experience working in the behavioral health field. Joy earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Lutheran University and her master’s degree from Arizona State University. Having served as a social worker with various populations in addiction, child welfare, homelessness, veterans, adult/child behavioral health, and inpatient behavioral health settings, Joy’s primary focus is being trauma-informed and bringing mindfulness to the populations she serves.
Joy has worked in a variety of leadership capacities throughout her career and enjoys developing meaningful relationships with employees to develop their abilities, looking to incorporate being trauma-informed and mindfulness as a leader. Joy has experience in program development, including developing mindfulness curriculum.
